Best friends Hana Elion and JJ Mitchell are the New York-based electro-folk duo Overcoats. Their debut album, “YOUNG”, was released in 2017, to accolades from the New York Times, VICE.com’s Noisey, and Billboard. They landed a coveted Tiny Desk Concert on NPR, and the station’s music critic Bob Boilen declared their debut “one of the best albums of 2017.”

This year, they have come into their own as style icons, and have been featured in Refinery29, Tidal, and Fashionista, dressed by leading independent brands like Ganni, Lykke Wullf, Mara Hoffman, Mr. Larkin. The band has also grown an organic and devoted social media following, numbering over 20K.
